It all started for Sally Raynes and James Bamber, the co-founders of Wacky Nation with an impromptu trip to the 'World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships' in 2007. With the sheer entertainment and fun experienced at the event they were hooked. After taking part in hundreds of wacky contests and gaining world championship medals in snail racing and pantomime horse, they decided to share their experiences and subsequently published a wacky events guidebook. More crucially Sally, (a successful event director), identified a niche for expectation-shattering experiences and events.
We believe in giving back to the communities where we work which is why we ensure our events benefit local and national charities. Wacky Nation welcome the opportunity to support charities through our services and have raised thousands of pounds by donations. We also offer opportunities for young people to gain work experience at our events to aid their career progression.
