Be very afraid…Lyme Regis gets taken over by witches, ghosts and zombies when the Lyme Slime Halloween Festival descends on the town at the end of October. The Spooky-extravaganza is getting even bigger this year with a week of spooky happenings around the town including beastly baking, creepy crafts, the terrifying trail and of course culminating in the 2km fiendishly fun run challenge along the seafront for the whole family.

Run, walk or fly on your broomstick..
Local community groups Lyme Regis Christmas Lights and Hubs Toddlers use the event to fundraise, providing spooky children’s games and competitions to help get into the spirit for a small fee.
Have a go at classic Halloween games like apple bobbing, ghost on a stick game, spooky golf or pumpkin bowling. Enjoy some Halloween arts & crafts, making ghosts in pots and bats on stretchy string & show off to your friends in the scary selfie booth. There will also be some delicious cakes to taste – if your dare!
Fancy dress is encouraged and with prizes and certificates for the best male and female costumes, so dig out your spookiest outfit and come dressed as a ghost, cat, witch, werewolf, skeleton, pumpkin or anything with a Halloween theme.
