10th UK Rock Paper Scissors Championships™
2009 – Present
Wacky Nation’s signature event with competitors travelling from all over the UK to London for three hours of pure excitement, adrenaline and tension, as 250 competitors battle through seven knockout rounds of rock paper scissors until only one winner remains – the UK Champion!

World Pancake Racing Championship™
2013 – Present
Fun & entertaining knock-out relay heats devised by Wacky Nation and held in Exeter City Centre, with the aim of bringing people into the town centre during early Spring.
Corporate & community groups entertain shoppers by running along a short course stopping to toss their pancake four times in a fun fancy dress team challenge. The first team across the finish line wins.

World Christmas Crackers Throwing Championships™
2013 – 2016
Tiverton is part of the Mary Portas Scheme and was seeking a fun way to entice shoppers in the town centre in the lead up to Christmas. Wacky Nation created the World Christmas Cracker Throwing Championships, where contestants fling a christmas cracker as far as they can along a specially marked out course.

6th World Wellington Boot Throwing Championships™
2009 – Present
Wacky Nation have been working with Wellington Experience since the inception of this event to create a fantastic family fun day to draw people into Wellington town centre, with welly competitions, food & drink stalls, entertainment and the World Wellington Boot Throwing Championships with categories for all age groups.

UK Backward Run
2010 – 2013
Wacky Nation were looking for a fun way to encourage people to participate in sport and produced the fun and innovative backward running race and fun run, with participants raising money for local charities. Races were held in Manchester and London. Sponsorship was offered by William Hill, Forever Manchester and Chobani.

World Alternative Games
Llanwrtyd Wells & the Welsh government asked Wacky Nation to help create an alternative Olympic Games with an array of wacky events from across the UK, to encourage international visitors to travel across to Wales in 2012.
The contests ran throughout August, showcasing the best zany sports e.g. Bog Snorkelling, Worm Charming and Gravy Wrestling.

Jubilee Sedan Chair Race
Crickhowell Community Group were looking for an event to draw the people of Crickhowell into the town centre to both celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee and support the local businesses and pubs.
The Jubilee Sedan Chair Race was designed by Wacky Nation as the central event in the town’s three day celebration. Races were held along the high street, with teams of four carrying a ‘regal’ volunteer.

UK Wheelchair Challenge
2010 – 2011
Wacky Nation were approached by GM Coachwork Ltd to increase their brand awareness in the disability marketplace by offering a fun event for UK wheelchair participants, their friends, family and carers.
UK Wheelchair Challenge was hosted by Heart FM’s Toby Anstis at South West Disability Show. The event encouraged wheelchair users to take part in a 1km or 3km sports endurance challenge and fundraise money for disabled charities.

Devon Schools Mix
2008 – 2011
In 2008 Devon County Council’s Music Service wanted to create an inspirational annual music festival for all the 376 Devon primary & secondary schools to attend, which could host 5000 attendees.
The MIX’ was created with a programme of more than 100 concerts, workshops and performances from every corner of the globe taking place in fifteen outdoor marquees at the Westpoint, Exeter.
